A Day at the Cheese Mania Showcase: A Feast for the Senses. | The Natural Cheese Mania Showcase, hosted by Real California Milk at the Double Tree Hotel The Intermark Kuala Lumpur, was an unforgettable experience that tantalized every sense. 

From the moment I walked through the doors, I knew I was in for a treat, surrounded by fellow cheese enthusiasts, local bloggers, influencers, and trade partners, all eager to explore the world of California cheeses.

The event kicked off with a delightful welcome: a goodie bag filled with cheesy surprises and a refreshing KL Fog Mocktail with CC Foam. This special drink set the tone for the day, a perfect blend of flavor and innovation. As I sipped my mocktail, I wandered through the captivating cheese product showcase. 


The variety on display was impressive, featuring an array of natural California cheeses from well-known brands like Food for Friends, Fiscalini, Sierra Nevada, and Point Reyes. Each brand brought something unique to the table, showcasing the diverse flavors and culinary applications of Real California Milk cheeses.

One of the highlights was learning that Real California Cow's Milk Cheeses had won 31 awards at the recent American Cheese Society Meeting. This accolade speaks volumes about the quality and craftsmanship that goes into every wheel and wedge of cheese.

The interactive photobooth was another crowd favorite. With fun props and catchy slogans promoting Real California Milk, it was impossible to resist snapping a few photos. Sharing these moments on social media with hashtags like #RealCaliforniaMilkMY, #RealCaliforniaMilk, and #RealCaliforniaCheese added an extra layer of community spirit to the event.


California's top-notch dairy production was a recurring theme throughout the day. The high-quality milk from grain-fed cows, combined with California's ideal weather, good water, and exercise for the cows, results in some of the best cheeses in the world. The strict USDA inspections and high food safety standards further ensure that every piece of cheese is not only delicious but also safe to eat.

Chef Barbara from California then took the stage, presenting a sumptuous 5-course meal that demonstrated the versatility of California natural cheeses. Watching her simple yet elegant demo was inspiring. 

The dishes she prepared were nothing short of spectacular: Arancini Crab Fried Rice with Spicy Mango Sauce, Everything But The Bagel Cheesy Potato Blintz with Fresh Herb Salad, The Original California X Rendang Lasagne, and Petite Wedge Salad with Blue Cheese. Each bite was a revelation, showcasing how cheese can elevate any dish.

A dedicated cheese-tasting session followed, where we savored six distinct types of cheese: Cheddar Sharp, Monterey Jack, Creamy Jalapeno Jack, Smokehouse Jack, Truffle Toma, and Blue Cheese. Each variety had its own unique qualities and flavors, making the tasting session both educational and delicious.

One of the most enjoyable activities was the DIY cheese board creation. Under expert guidance, we learned how to arrange a variety of cheeses and ingredients into visually appealing displays. The atmosphere was lively, filled with laughter and creativity. It was fun to see everyone's unique takes on their cheese boards, and sharing photos of our creations on social media added an interactive element to the event.

The excitement peaked with the Cheese Mania social contest. Five lucky winners who shared their posts were awarded Limited Edition Cheese Boards. Additionally, Chef Barbara personally selected three winners from the DIY Cheese Board contest, celebrating creativity and participation. The winners were thrilled to take home the biggest Limited Edition Cheese Board prizes, personally handed out by Chef Barbara.

The event concluded with a group photo to commemorate the occasion, and each guest left with another parting goodie bag. This cooler bag contained four types of delicious cheese: Monterey Jack, Cheddar Mild, Cheddar Sharp, and Pepper Jack, allowing us to continue enjoying the flavors of Real California Milk at home.

The Cheese Mania Showcase not only celebrated the versatility and rich flavors of Real California Milk cheeses but also underscored their importance in a balanced, joyful lifestyle. I left the event inspired and ready to incorporate these premium natural cheeses into my festive and everyday cooking. The showcase was a testament to the quality and appeal of Real California Milk cheeses, offering a wholesome and delicious alternative for culinary enthusiasts and health-conscious consumers alike.

It was a day well spent, filled with fun, flavor, and fantastic memories.
