The Enchanted Langkawi Nature Park, Langkawi, Kedah. | Hi everyone, this time I'd like to continue sharing about my TRIP to Langkawi earlier in March. The location I want to talk about this time is Langkawi Nature Park.
I guess many will explore the beach when you visit Langkawi right? You may not know about the existence of Langkawi Nature Park, right? Hence, in this article, I'll share a bit about my experience at Langkawi Nature Park.
The Flora and Fauna at Langkawi Nature Park, Langkawi, Kedah
Reopened gradually starting from December 22, 2023, Langkawi Nature Park is expected to operate fully by 2024 Q3, and now more than 70% of Langkawi Nature Park's area is accessible to visitors.
Alright, we arrived at Langkawi Nature Park, starting with a boat ride at Jeti Kilim Geoforest Park. Then, we cruised along the Kilim River until we reached Jeti Mangrove Walk at Langkawi Nature Park.
Mangrove Walk at Langkawi Nature Park
Completed in 2018, Langkawi Nature Park's pedestrian walkway stretches for 800 meters. It starts at the end of the recreational/zoological area of the Park to the Langkawi Nature Park jetty along the Kilim River. This mangrove forest covers an area of at least 35 acres.
Strolling along the pathway and returning takes about 45 minutes. You can also choose to rent bicycles provided within Langkawi Nature Park. Cycling on this pedestrian walkway is allowed but subject to visitor load factors.
The Mangrove Boardwalk is open to visitors from 12 PM to 7 PM, with the last entry allowed at 6 PM.
Recreation & Animal Sections at Langkawi Nature Park

Our journey continued to explore the surrounding area of Langkawi Nature, including the animal section. We had the opportunity to meet 2 of 11 hyenas in here and fed them. It was a fun & furious experience though.
Langkawi Nature Park covers approximately 8-10 acres of a built-up zoological area. Originally displaying eight separate animal sections, it has now been reduced to six. However, only the dugong, bird aviary, and deer sections are open to the public, until notified later.
