Recently, I attended the Jingle U.S. Potatoes All The Way Christmas Workshop, and  I was immersed in a festive celebration of culinary excellence and the versatility of U.S. potatoes.

The Jingle U.S. Potatoes All The Way Christmas Workshop held in Kuala Lumpur on November 28, 2023, was indeed a festive extravaganza, bringing together invited guests, influencers, and potato enthusiasts for a unique culinary experience. 

The event, hosted at FunFun Event Space, lasted from 10:30 AM to 2 PM, offering a plethora of activities, cooking demonstrations, and interactive workshops.

The festivities began with a vibrant product showcase featuring a Potato Christmas Garden. Attendees were treated to a display of various U.S. fresh potato varieties, including Russet, Red, and Purple, as well as different cuts of frozen U.S. potatoes and instant mashed potato mixes.

A photo booth and a social media contest added an element of fun and engagement for the guests.

The product showcase also featured various activities and games, with successful participants receiving special prizes and free gifts, fostering a lively and friendly atmosphere. 

The main event commenced with a warm welcome from the emcee, followed by an enlightening speech from Mr. Eddie Saw, the Country Representative of Potatoes USA, who shared insights into the journey and significance of U.S. potatoes.

Renowned Chef ZieZie took the stage next, captivating the audience with a demonstration of how to prepare Baked U.S. Potatoes with Cheese. A simple yet delicious and nutritious recipe for the whole family.

The culinary journey continued with a hands-on cooking workshop led by Chef ZieZie, showcasing her creation of "Twinkle U.S. Potatoes Stars" a delightful dish made with U.S. Russet potatoes.

Potato Carving with Chef Taufiq

Chef Taufiq Halim 

Chef Taufiq Halim added to the festive spirit by leading a potato carving workshop, teaching guests how to carve festive figurines from U.S. Russet and Purple potatoes. It's fun to learn again fruit carving.

The celebration reached its peak with Chef ZieZie presenting certificates of attendance to guests, followed by a group photo session to capture the day's memorable moments.

After a sumptuous lunch, the excitement heightened with the announcement of the social media contest winners, where ten lucky guests received special prizes for their active participation. Congrats to everyone who won that day!

The Jingle U.S. Potatoes All The Way Christmas Workshop successfully celebrated the nutritional benefits and culinary versatility of U.S. potatoes. And of course we ate different styles of potato dishes that day.

Overall, it was an immersive and educational experience, leaving attendees with a newfound appreciation for the humble yet extraordinary U.S. potato.
