The
empowerment of Sekolah Amanah since its launch in 2010 has demonstrated
positive results in improving school performance, especially for teachers and
students. The Sekolah Amanah network under Yayasan AMIR, supported by Khazanah,
no doubt has been able to enhance the quality of educational sector
transformation in Malaysia.
Sekolah Amanah Conference 2023
To
sustain this program, a two-day Sekolah Amanah Conference was organized to
share the true agenda of the program and the successes and positive impacts
achieved. Various informative sessions were designed to provide the public with
insights into the transformation process and its achievements.
The
event was inaugurated by Mr. Haji Abdul Muie bin Ngah, Director of the Daily
School Management Division, Ministry of Education Malaysia. Also in attendance
was YM Raja Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Arshad Raja Tun Uda, Chairman of the Board of
Trustees, Yayasan AMIR.
During the event, the excellence and talents of SMK Lundu students were showcased. The program continued with a 'Our Voices' sharing session featuring the experiences of those who have participated in the Sekolah Amanah Program over the past 12 years.
A
before-and-after video presentation of the Sekolah Amanah Program was shown to
demonstrate its success and achievements to the public. Afterward, a visit to
the exhibition area provided more information and insights into the involvement
and achievements of teachers and students.

AMIR ("YA") was incorporated by Khazanah Nasional Berhad on October
26, 2010, as a non-profit foundation to drive the Sekolah Amanah Program
through a Public-Private Partnership ("PPP") with the Ministry of
