MALAYSIA HOBBY EXPO 2023 RETURNS WITH OVER 50 HOBBY ACTIVITIES. | Did you have a hobby or maybe something you are really passionate about. Do you have any groups or communities with the same hobby? I guess you have but if you don't why not join the Malaysia Hobby Expo 2023.

The anticipating Malaysia Hobby Expo 2023 is back for its 5th year, promising more than 50 types of hobbies in one event, including radio-controlled cars, vintage collections, extreme sports, pets, books and magazines, arts and crafts, and much more.

Malaysia Hobby Expo 2023

The Malaysia Hobby Expo will take place over 2 days from December 2nd to 3rd, 2023, featuring the "Passion of Sound" Concert on December 3rd, 2023. The event is organized by the main organizer, Specta Group Venture, at MAEPS Serdang as the Official Venue, with Shopee as the main sponsor of Malaysia Hobby Expo 2023.

Muhammed Fidzri Syafeeq, the founder of Malaysia Hobby Expo, stated that the inspiration for this Expo came from international Expos in Japan, Beijing, Shizouka, and Moscow. The event first started in Malaysia in 2016 and continued until 2019.

"Our target this year is to attract 25,000 visitors each day, an increase of 35% from our 2019 target."

This is the 5th edition of the event since its establishment in 2016, making a comeback this year after the Movement Control Order (MCO). The event covers a wide range of hobbies, with each hobby allocated to specific zones.

There are several main zones, including the "Hobby Bazaar," "Hobby Group," "Vintage Bazaar," extreme sports zone, pet zone, and "Outdoor" zone, encompassing 250 exhibitors. The entry fee for this event is as low as RM20.00 for adults and RM5.00 for children for the two-day event.

Every purchase of Malaysia Hobby Expo or "Passion Of Sound" Concert tickets qualifies for a lucky draw with prizes worth RM50,000. Exciting prizes include a fully converted MYVI car, 2 Yamaha LC V8 motorcycles, a 55" TV, PlayStation, and 10 G-shock watches.

The organization of the Malaysian Hobby Expo this time involves collaborations with major names such as MPH, Todak, U Mobile, Gardenia, FITA Hobby Shop, and Decathlon. Additionally, the expo is organized in collaboration with the Malaysia Cat Groomer Association, Exotic Animal Expo, Seri Bayu Tekala, and Eight Bar, with Choii being the official merchandise partner.

We also have the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Rakan Muda to make this event a success.

Passion of Sound Concert.

The highlight of the event is the "Passion of Sound" Concert featuring 5 local artists, namely Ruffedge, Gerhana SKA Cinta, Insomniacks, Saixe, and Hujan. This mega concert will take place on December 2, 2023, from 7 pm to 12 midnight. Concert tickets will be available for purchase on Shopee and our digital platform starting from November 21. Each ticket purchase qualifies for the lucky draw, with special prizes in celebration of the 5th year of Malaysia Hobby Expo.

The "Passion of Sound" Concert is sponsored by Elf Bar as the main sponsor. With every concert ticket purchase, buyers are eligible to participate in a lucrative lucky draw, including a BMW car, motorcycles, PS5, and other attractive prizes.

Other Interesting Competition

MHXCUP2023

This year's event is also special with the organization of the Mini 4WD MHXCUP2023, the largest Mini 4WD competition ever held in Malaysia. The total prize pool for this competition is over RM30,000, with more than 300 participants from Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Brunei, and many more. This collaboration is between FITA Hobby Shop, MHX2023, and GTMC.

In celebration of the 5th anniversary of Malaysia Hobby Expo 2023, a unique fishing competition will be held on December 3rd at the MAEPS lake with a total prize value of RM50,000 for the winners. The fishing competition will be organized in collaboration with Seri Bayu Tekala and sponsored by ELF BAR as the main sponsor of this fishing competition.

"We have prepared various marketing platforms such as billboards, radio ads with Hot FM as the official radio, and endorsements from celebrities like Fizo Omar, Shuib, and many more."
