Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (STR) Phase 1 Will Release Tomorrow. | Good news to all Malaysians or to be exact the B40, Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (STR) Phase 1 Worth RM1.67 Billion In Phases From 17 January 2023 (Tuesday). The Unity Government emphasizes the compassionate approach in defending the plight of the poor, especially the vulnerable and easily affected.

In line with that, the Government has introduced the Payung Rahmah concept as a parent to initiatives to help the less able facing the cost of living challenge.

Therefore, the cash assistance program for B40 under the Ministry of Finance was rebranded as Rahmah Cash Contribution (STR) and will continue to be improved.

Prime Minister, Anwar Ibrahim has decided that STR Phase 1 for the B40 group should be started in January 2023 compared to the initial planning in March 2023 to ease the burden of the people's livelihood.

STR Phase 1 payments to 8.7 million B40 group worth RM1.67 billion will be credited into the recipient's bank account registered in the STR database in stages from 17 January 2023 (Tuesday) as per the table below.

STR recipients in rural areas including Sabah and Sarawak who have a bank account or no bank account will also receive this payment on the same date.

STR recipients who do not have a bank account can also make payments at Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) branches from 17 January 2023.
