EXCITING PHOTO HUNT DURING THE SELANGOR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL PHOTOGRAPHY FESTIVAL. | A picture can say a thousand words and it is a subjective item that many couldn't interpret the meaning of it. And to become a great photographer one should good view and perspective towards a subject and of course a lot of practice and learning.



I, of course not even close to being a photographer but I do love taking pictures. As a blogger, taking a good photo is important too and I still struggle to catch up on it. Thus, taking part in this recent photo hunt is something I do look forward to.

THE SELANGOR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL PHOTOGRAPHY FESTIVAL

The State of Selangor, through its tourism promotion agency, Tourism Selangor, has organised the Selangor International Travel Photography Festival from 12th until 13th November 2022 at UG Atrium, Paradigm Mall, Petaling Jaya.



In an effort to promote domestic tourism destinations in Selangor, this year's Selangor International Travel Photography Festival has gathered around 8,000- 10,000 visitors throughout the Festival and has featured various activities such as photography competitions and exhibitions, discussions and presentations, cultural performances, seminars, and many more.

The Honourable Mr. Hee Loy Sian, the Tourism and Environment Executive Committee for the State of Selangor, in a statement, said, the main goal of the Festival this time is to introduce and further enhance the Selangor tourism industry, which has the potential to become a focus area for photographers and creative content creators, in addition to improving some iconic tourist hotspots in the state of Selangor.

In records, Selangor managed to attract over 10.2 Million domestic tourists to Selangor in 2021 and listed Selangor as the most visited state in Malaysia. Through this year's collaboration with the key tourism industry players, including Jumpstreet Asia, Selangor Fruit Valley, Eastin Hotel, Chocolate Museum, Jungle School Gombak, and Gamuda Land, the Selangor International Travel Photography Festival abled to promote domestic tourism better.

SELANGOR PHOTO HUNT 2022

Thanks to my fellow blogger friend Zandra for inviting me to join the Selangor Photo Hunt this year. It was my first-ever photo hunt, and it is definitely not my expertise but I love contests.  

The Photo Hunt this time was set only in the Paradigm Mall and we have to answer 8 questions in a piece of art. The answer is quite subjective but should have the same meaning. We manage to answer all the questions within the time given and answer all in our own art. :P

And of course, we didn't win anything. We have to compete with professional photographers. I wish they have a beginner-level category. haha! Anyway, congratulations to all winners, and I gain many experiences during this exciting photo hunt!
