Family Retreat at Riverside Chalet Latip D' Ayer Itam, Perak. | Perak is one the best region I'll look forward to visiting every year since it is my father's hometown. My last visit to Perak was 2 months ago but it actually went as far as Tanjung Malim only. And the trip was to help my younger sister pick up her robe for her convocation day.

So, last months was her convocation day but unfortunately I cannot join them going back to Perak as my kids turn for Face-to-Face class that week. It is sad because it's been almost 3 years I didn't go back to Taiping. I miss everything at Taiping especially the food.

Since our uncle in Perak has passed away and mom said our auntie going to Penang, they book a chalet when they visit Taiping that day. The night before they stay at a chalet in Tanjung Malim but my sister said it was quite a bad experience and this Chalet Latip D'Ayer Itam was a good experience to share.

When my sisters' post and Instagram stories about this place, I also felt jealous about it. It was so breathtaking to wake up by the river. The cottage they stay also was spacious and comfortable for the whole family.

Cottage Room

So my family booked the cottage which can accommodate up to 8 people. It has 4 beds and also a double-story chalet. They have clean nice beds hotel standards, towels, and basic toiletries.

 

The chalet has its own restaurants open from 8am - 9pm. As the place is private, so is the river surrounding the place. Kids and adults (my sister-Salma), really enjoyed playing in the river for hours in this huge area!

It was really nice to wake up and enjoy the river view from your room. I saw many groups having gatherings and doing barbeque at this place too. If you love nature and swimming in the river this is a great place to bring the whole family for a vacation. 

I have always loved the river in this area and during my childhood, Abah always brings us to the Sepeneh River as it is near to Abah house in Batu Kurau. Sepeneh also has a great chalet and the river is so cold!

But anyway, we will definitely be going to be here again next year with the whole family. InshaAllah.
