MOE Media Statement regarding School Session Term 3, 2021/2022 and Academic Calendar Session 2022/2023. | Last week Zahra went back from home and rant about why the teacher said she going to be in standard 3 again next year. The pandemic covid-19 really makes our lives upside down and even the school terms suddenly changed drastically.



Hence, next year my kids will only turn to their next grade in March. MOE today also announce the official statement about it and yes let's plan our trip and holiday since we already have the officials date about and hopefully everything will went well next year.




The Ministry of Education (MOE) has informed that the School Session Term 3 2021/2022 will start from 2 January 2022 to 20 March 2022 for schools in Group A states. Meanwhile, for schools in Group B, the School Session Term 3 2021 /2022 will start from 3 January 2022 to 20 March 2022.


This matter was announced in the MOE press release dated 15 November 2021 as below:


The following is the MOE's media statement regarding the School Session Term 3, 2021/2022 and the Academic Calendar of the Session 2022/2023.

School Session Term 3 2021 /2022 KPM

The KPM Term 3 school session is scheduled following the pandemic, where the postponement is aimed at helping students master the syllabus that was dropped when the school was closed during the last Movement Control Order (PKP) period.


In an earlier media statement, Dr Radzi Jidin had informed that the 2022 school session would be shifted to March, instead of January as usual.

The following is 2022 /2023 Session Festive Holiday announced by the MOE through Appendix 5.

Despite the announcement and excitement to go to school and holidays next year, I also heard the rumor that the pandemic will be bad again at the end of this year. Many say it just a rumor and some agenda but then as someone who has no power to change the world, we can only pray the best for it. Let's pray with this dua every day gais. 

Dua to seeks protection from Covid-19

Read after obligatory prayers or sunnah prayers ;

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

الحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ العَالَمِينَ، وَالصَّلاَةُ وَالسَّلاَمُ عَلَى سَيِّـدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ أَشْرَفِ الأَنْـبِيَاءِ وَالمُرْسَلِينَ، وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ أَجْمَعِينَ.

اَللَّهُمَّ ادْفَعْ عَنَّـا البَلآءَ وَالغَلاَءَ وَالوَبَاءَ وَالطَّاعُونَ وَالفَحْشَاءَ وَالمُنْـكَرَ وَالبَغْيَ وَالسُّوءَ المُخْتَـلِفَ وَالشَّدَائِدَ وَالمِحَنَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ مِنْ بَلَدِنَا وَقَرْيَتِـنَا هَذِهِ خَآصَّةً وَمِنْ بُلْدَانِ المُسْلِمِينَ كَآفَّةً عَآمَّةً إِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ وَبِالإِجَابَةِ جَدِيرٌ.

تَحَصَّـنَّا بِذِى العِزَّةِ وَالجَبَرُوتِ، وَاعْتَصَمْـنَا بِرَبِّ المَلَـكُوتِ، وَتَوَكَّـلْنَا عَلَى الحَيِّ الَّذِي لاَ يَمُوتُ، اَللَّهُمَّ اصْرِفْ عَنَّا هَذَا الوَبَاءَ، وَقِنَا شَرَّ الرَّدَى، وَنَجِّنَا مِنَ الطَّعْنِ وَالطَّاعُونِ وَالبَلاَءِ، بِلُطْفِكَ يَا لَطِيفُ، يَا خَبِيرُ، إِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، وَصَلَّى اللهُ عَلَى سَيِّـدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِهِ
وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَالحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ العَالَمِينَ.

Meaning: Praise be to GOD, Lord of the worlds, blessings and peace be upon Saidina Muhammad, the noble prophet and messenger, family members and companions.

Ya Allah! Keep us away from plagues, epidemics, cholera, various abominations and evils, all hardships and trials that are apparent and hidden. Ya Allah! Save our state in particular, and the nation of Muslims in general from all these disasters. Lo! Thou art Able to do all things, and Thou art worthy of all things.

I seek refuge in GOD the Almighty and the One Who Has Absolute Power. I hold fast to GOD the Lord of the Great Kingdom and I surrender to the Living GOD and will never die.

Ya Allah! O our Lord keep us away from this coming plague and protect us from all destructive evils and save us from all slanders and cholera and all plagues that come, with Your gentleness O GOD, the Most Gentle God, O the Most Merciful God Subtle in His Knowledge, You are Almighty over all things, blessings and peace be upon the revered Prophet Muhammad SAW, his family and companions. Praise be to GOD, the creator of the universe.

May Allah bless us all and may this virus will be gone soon from the earth. I just hope my kids can grow up happily and normal just like me when I was a kid.
