Short Getaway before High Tide to Pantai Morib. | I have been living in Selangor for more than 13 years but never had a chance or honestly can say, never interested to visit Morib Beach. But we miss the sea so much and in law, family is quite busy with work and has a tide schedule, so a short getaway is the only option we have.
After a few considerations, we planned to visit Morib Beach. Looking at google, I guess there are a few places we can visit at Morib, and there are also many other options of beach in the surrounding area but like Bagan Lalang it took another hour of the journey after you reached Morib.
Thus, we decided to visit Morib first time and we when there as early as 11am and we made our first stop searching for kerepek/crackers at many stores available in Banting. We made a stop at Ros Kerepek and of course, there are so many options of Crackers we can have in here. If you wanted to sell crackers, this place is also a good place to visit if you wanted to buy in bulk.

After a good shopping at Ros Kerepek, we straightaway went to Morib Beach. It is still early, about 1pm and I guess the big tide makes the sea and beach look much worse than before. Even the sky is gloomy that day, and of course, we are from East Coast and we are familiar with the blue sea, Morib Beach is quite disappointing. Haha...

My kids and niece are even disappointed, they wanted to swim at the beach. But they couldn't and just sat looking at the sea with a frustrated face. Thank God, the ice cream man came and cheer us up and I manage to get my Roti Ais Krim that day. Love every bite of it. After eating ice cream my son want to have drink and we went to the food court in front of the beach, and my sister in law wants to eat Ikan Bakar(fish bbq) that day but the shop at the food court still closed since we went there so early. So we just hang out at the park near the food court area and google for Ikan Bakar Restaurant that opened as early as 2pm.
Thus, we found Juvita Seafood Restaurant near the area and we went they for our lunch. We had Siakap Bakar, Siakap Sea and Sour, Stingray Bakar, Deep Fried Squid, Kailan Ikan Masin, Tom Yam, Omelets, of course, white rice, a jug of Watermelon Juice and a jug of Ice Tea. And all that cost us not more than RM250 and it is for 11 people. And not forgetting my daughter had Nasi Goreng Pataya that day, unfortunately, my daughter didn't bless with a good preference for seafood. Pity her right?
After a great lunch, my husband wanted to go back home already but my sister-in-law wanted to see the sunset and even it was still too early for sunset but we still went back to the beach as my husband wanted to rest for a bit. But this time we went to Kelanang Beach and it was just 5 minutes different from Morib Beach. Kelanang Beach are more peaceful and the tree near the beach makes the beach more dim and the beach is more sloping so we can go near the water. But because of the high tide, it is dangerous to be near the beach so my kids just play at the playground near it.

Somehow after a few hours, and the wave looks slightly slower than before, my kids and niece went to the beach and of course, they end up laying at the beach. Fateh and Malique really couldn't resist playing in the water even the water is not very clean(many dead shell pieces at the beach). But I guess my kids and niece really had a great time that day after a year we didn't go to the beach. My last trip was to Kapas Island and the beach is so beautiful!

That day, the sky was glooming and the sky was not that bright, hence we didn't manage to see a good sunset. Even at 6.30pm, the sun was hiding behind the cloud and my sister-in-law was really frustrated with it. After my kids have their shower and changed their cloth we went back home. It was a great short getaway and I guess I'll bring them again here when the weather is good in the future.
