As the Covid-19 is still in the community the vaccination is one of the options we should considered to reduce the cases and of course to protect ourselves and our family. Recently, the administration of Pfizer BioNTech's COVID-19 vaccine to children under 12 will begin in 2022. The Ministry of Health (MOH) informed that currently, only the vaccine is available for use by children under the age of 12 and is awaiting regulatory approval from the European Union and the United States.
"Pfizer is also expected to submit data related to the registration of vaccine use for children under 12 by the end of this year to the NPRA (National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency) for evaluation and approval of registration," the ministry said in a written reply posted on Parliament's website today.
According to the ministry, the government is currently in the process of procuring Pfizer BioNTech vaccine for immunization use for the group as the formulation used differs from the adult population, subject to NPRA and Drug Control Authority (DCA) approval.

"It is expected that a total of 5.9 million children will be vaccinated involving an estimated quantity requirement of 11.8 million doses," according to the ministry.
The matter was clarified to answer a question from Wong Chen (PH-Subang) who wanted to know whether the MOH intends to give vaccine injections to children aged five to 12 years and the expectation that it will be implemented.
I guess next year my kids, Zahra and Fateh will be called for Covid-19 Vaccination but I suddenly have a doubt about it. My anxiety somewhere came and I'm scared if anything could happen to them. But I hope everything will went well and these viruses will be gone as fast as they can, so my kids won't have to have an unnecessary jab. phew~
It will be a tough decision to make next year since El-Fateh have bad asthma when his baby and I hope I can read more data about this kids vaccination soon since the US has started the vaccination for their kids.
Till then, stay safe everyone! Don't forget to implement the TRIIS(Test, Report, Inform, Isolate, Seek) in your life.
