Iftar with More than 100 Dishes at S'lasih Restaurant. | Salam semua, Ramadan is approaching really fast this year and in another less than a week all Muslim will be start their fasting month. Last year Ramadan, was totally different from any year I've been live in Malaysia. Due to the Pandemic no single buffet Ramadan we can attend or even more no bazaar Ramadan at all.

It was a sad year last year, but then this year as all Malaysian have been living in this new normal for about a year, we have adapting the new SOP in restaurant very well. And due to that, all the food operation are allow to be operate during this Ramadan 2021 with a strict SOP. Restaurant S'lasih also one the restaurant that will open their restaurant with Buffet Ramadan this year with their specialty dishes of Nasi Padang and also our local Asian Cuisine.

If you crave famous Asian food including Nasi Padang for breaking fast, you will probably get more than what you want here in S'lasih Restaurant. This is because, the Ramadan Buffet at S'lasih Padang Restaurant & Asian Cuisine will display delicious food at both branches, namely at Bangsar Shopping Center and also Sunway Putra Mall.

With almost 100 dishes per day, it’s no exaggeration to say that the buffet has something for everyone, ranging from restaurant specialties like Nasi Goreng Kambing Panas, Nasi Lemak Ayam Rendang Terjungkit and many more options for you to choose from. The dish is suitable for all age from the children who are just beginning to learn to fast until adults who crave a variety of traditional menus.

The official opening of S'lasih Padang & Asian Cuisine restaurant at Bangsar Shopping Center was officiated by YM Che Puan Temenggong Perlis Datin Seri DiRaja Farinawati Datuk Mohd Din and was attended by 70 other guests. The branch can accommodate 70 to 80 people at a time. Not to worry, this restaurant is SOP compliant. As a guest, you are required to wear a face mask, scan the MySejahtera QR code, sanitatize your hand and practice 1 meter physical distancing. The space inside the restaurant is very comfort and with a big chair they had, it is SOP compliant. InsyaAllah you will break your fast happily.

S'lasih Padang & Asian Cuisine

S'lasih Restaurant was established in March 2018 after meeting the restaurant's previous major franchisees in 2017 in Indonesia. Then the concept of "Padang" which is derived from the name Nasi Padang is still maintained as the basic core of this restaurant. Founded by His Majesty Tengku Haji Daud Shah Tengku Adnan and his wife, Puan Ziah Zakaria.

The rebranding of the restaurant's name to S'lasih is the result of an idea from the family of YM Tengku Haji Daud Shah who mentioned one of the herbs, Selasih. The word S'lasih is soft and it’s very welcoming. Currently, S'lasih Padang & Asian Cuisine has two branches. one at Bangsar Shopping Center and Sunway Putra Mall. They provides breakfast, lunch, dinner and operates according to the mall's operating hours from 10 am to 10 pm.

During the event Tengku Haji Daud Shah bin Tengku Adnan, the owner of S'lasih Restaurant, said that ;

"The arrival of Ramadan will surely delight its customers with a wide variety of delicacies. We plan to open more branches in the Klang Valley in the future and will continue to expand our menu to include more dishes from all over Asia. Apart from specialties, you will also be enchanted with Roti Canai Sarang Burung and Rendang Daging that are cooked for eight hours in coconut milk and cooked slowly until dry. Other famous dishes include Ayam Gulai, Ayam Goreng Rempah, and Dendeng Balado Cabe Merah Kering which is actually fried beef marinated in coconut water with garlic, shallots and coconut oil. "

Food At S'lasih Padang & Asian Cuisine Bangsar Shopping Center.

Among the menus that are special are Padang Cuisine, Western Cuisine, Asian Cuisine and many more. S'lasih Padang Restaurant & Asian Cuisine Bangsar Shopping Center branch also cater for events such as closed events, corporate event, launching event and previously they also had a small wedding event for their customer.

For this Ramadan, S'lasih Padang Restaurant & Asian Cuisine will serve their customer with than 100 menu in Bangsar Shopping Centre branch, while in the Sunway Putra Mall the food choices are slightly lesser due to the price they offered. But then, I bet they will served all their signature dishes on both outlet for their customer to enjoy the Iftar.

All guest will be spoiled with the food choices they serve in here, and if you looking Malay or Asian Cuisine here is the place. Among the menus that will be featured during the Ramadan Buffet which will take place on April 13 to May 3, 2021 includes :

1. Appetizer

You can enjoy eating the ketupat and serunding, assorted of kerabu (Malaysian Style of Salad) and I really like the Beef Kerabu they served that day.

One of the mouth-watering dishes, Rendang Ayam Minang, will be part of this year's Ramadan Buffet spread at S’lasih Restaurants.

One of the unique menu can have here also is the Roti Canai Sarang Burung and they served satay with soy sauce and chilies dipping. It is different from what we usually had the peanut sauce but then the taste is great.

2. Rice and Side Dishes

In S'lasih Nasi Padang and Asian Cuisines, they served two types of rice which is white rice and yellow rice. They also had Malaysian favorite rice porridge or we call it Bubur Lambuk that famous during Ramadan Iftar. Hence the side dishes here will make you get up on your chair more than 3 times I bet. All the side dishes is delicious especially the Dendeng Berlado.

The roasted lamb also one of the kind because it is served with soy sauce dipping too. It is definitely unique and different from the usually black pepper sauce you had in the others restaurant. You also can had Roasted Chicken, Roasted fish and even roasted stingray in this buffet line.

3. Desserts

On the desserts section, you can had all the drinks from Sirap Bandung, air tebu and also ABC. They also served all Malaysian kuih like karipap, ondeh-ondeh, kuih lapis and etc. Raya Cookies also served to perfecting your Raya vibes during this Ramadan. By the way, pengat pisang is delicious.

The Ramadan Buffet will run from April 13 to May 3, 2021 (5.30pm - 9.00pm daily) at both restaurant outlets. Reservations can be made via WhatsApp at +6 014 511 4769. Orders are also available via Foodpanda and Grabfood.

Ramadan Buffet at S'lasih Padang & Asian Cuisine Bangsar Shopping Center costs RM89.00 for an adult and RM40.00 for a child.

Meanwhile, the price for the Ramadan Buffet meal at the S'lasih Sunway Putra Mall branch is RM30.00 for an adult and RM10.00 for a child. At Sunway Putra Mall only 50 dishes are available and space capacity is limited. Available for dining at the restaurant or takeaway.
