TheAsianparent App : Parenting App to Support your Parenthood. | As a new mother, there always be question that popping up your mind and sometimes it will be awkward to ask people around. Google might be useful but sometime there always pros and cons to believe the answer there.

During my first pregnancy, I install apps from Google Store to understand more about my pregnancy journey but the apps are more to Western moms. Thanks to theAsianparent, Southeast Asia's largest  parenting portal with a monthly network reach of more than 25 million users, had officially launched their apps for Malaysian on the 25 September 2019.

This year, when I know I pregnant again I search for an app to monitor my pregnancy development. Even though this will my fourth pregnancy, I still excited and curios to check my baby development. theAsianparent app features a pregnancy and baby tracker that monitors day-to-day development while providing helpful information such as symptoms to expect and precautions expecting mothers may need to take. Even after birth, parents can continue to track children's milestones up to the age of six.

Food and Nutrition is most favorite topic for new mom because of course we eat and feed everyday right? With theAsianparent app, parents can navigate what foods are safe to have during pregnancy and offers advice on the best nourishment for babies. The best things about it, this app is so Malaysian-Lah where it can identify our local food and fruits and will be the best guide for pregnant and confinement mother in Malaysia. Are Durian safe to eat during pregnancy? This sorts of question will find easily in this app.

3. Checklist

Curious moms gonna love this features because we can track our kids development precisely. With the checklist given, we know what to expect at our baby age and you may rest assure if the checklist went well. Hence, if it is different from what we should get we can bring our kids to nearest doctor for consultation. With that we will never too late for our kids therapy or etc.

4. Medicines

One of the functions that I also look forward to have in my phone app is this. Even in my fourth pregnancy I still doubt that Paracetamol are safe to eat or not. Lucky me, I had a nurse sister and she always advice what is good or not but then not everything she know.  With theAsianparent app, I also did not go to the pharmacist everytime I want to check for the answer. It will be just on my fingertips but of course do consult with your pharmacist or doctor before you consume any medicine.

It much easier right?

From my observation, in theAsianparent app the parent have a positive aura and keep supporting each other. You can post something without a doubt and even if you have doubt about it, you can always use the Anonymous function to represent you.

Answering poll might not be your favorite things to do, but in here you can answer polls and collect point. And also with answering point, I found that the common answer or behavior towards any question asked, and from that you will know the thing you do is not less appropriate to do.
