Facial Treatment at Teratak Spa Menara MARA. | Hello gorgeous! It's been a while since I didn't went for spa treatment. Missing all those great moment before the pandemic hit the world where we can do and go without anxiety and hesitate.

Looking back to my phone memory, I guess I forgot to update my trip Teratak Menara MARA Spa for my facial treatment. It was a good experience and I think I should share to you about it.

Teratak Spa Menara Mara is a Muslim-friendly spa that has the objective of providing beauty treatments and consultations as well as selling skin care, health, and beauty-related products. 

They believe that the spa industry is synonymous with health maintenance and is fast gaining popularity in Malaysia as the population becomes more health conscious. The team behind Teratak Spa bases their business on providing total body wellness to clients and has carefully designed their premises to be a place where clients can revitalise and relax during their spare time.

Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur at the Menara MARA that is well known with selling computer and gadget also the product from the MARA's entreprenuer. This spa definitely great you with a great aromatic from spa and makes you calm automatically.

With the great beautician that will explain you with the facial session you will be comfort with the treatment that day. The beautician also very friendly and  do have great experience on her job, I guess her massage will be great too.

Like my other experience during facial, we will be serve with hot tea after the treatment. I love the hot tea that will sooth me after the facial treatment.

According to its owner, Selinastein Mohd Rashid, Teratak Spa Menara MARA started with a small premise measuring around 24 square meters before tripling to a more strategic location, about a year later.

“In the past, there were only facial beauty treatments and massages. But now various complete packages are offered including flower baths, tangas, scrubs, scrubs and so on, ”she said.

Examining every corner and the advantages of this luxury style simple spa, it is clear to see the uniqueness that is trying to be highlighted through the concept of the archipelago.

Despite being in the heart of the city, the spa brings a peaceful village atmosphere with a selection of teak furniture, sloping walls, curtains and glass windows of the old days as well as handmade hardware.

"We also bring five cultural elements of this country, namely the smell of lemongrass aroma therapy, the sound of Malaysian massage music, the unique taste of Javanese sour drinks, a touch of massage and natural treatments as well as the beautiful scenery of Kuala Lumpur," she said.

Teratak Spa Menara MARA Package

At this spa, six combination treatment packages can be selected according to the suitability and wishes of the client. Among the packages are Si Pinang Muda, Sri Kandi, Nona Manis, Mak Inang, Dandan Puteri and Ulik Mayang.

“All packages have their own specialties. For those who want to refresh the body after childbirth and abstinence, Sri Kandi offers an herbal stove.

“Meanwhile, the bride and groom are suitable to choose the Dandan Puteri package because it includes a traditional flower bath with 100 village roses. This type of rose is more fragrant and the smell stays on the body for a long time, thus raising the aura of the king for a day.

“However, for those who have more allocation, we recommend taking a complete bridal package. It should start three months before the wedding ceremony with the Si Pinang Muda package, followed by Mak Inang and finally Dandan Puteri, ”she said.

Elaborating further on the Si Pinang Muda package, Selina said, it includes a scrub treatment to clean dirt and remove dead skin cells. Mak Inang, on the other hand, provides fragrant scents and wet hair to help improve the interior and make sweat fragrant.

The five therapists at the spa are locally trained children who specialize in massage and facial treatments. The premium spa package provides three fully equipped treatment rooms and three loungers for foot massage with breathtaking views.

"We are committed to bringing premium equipment, services and hospitality in addition to the uniqueness of Malay culture which is known to be polite and gentle in various angles," he said, who also provided potpourri as handicrafts for each customer.
