U.S Fries and Burger Fiesta at Chequers Restaurant

Hi everyone,

In conjunction of U.S Potatoes Fries and Burger Fiesta, I make a visit to one of the participating outlet to try out their new launch menu. I'm so excited with the fiesta and never went to this restaurant, so I decided to go and tried their dishes.

For your information, Chequers is an American diner restaurant serve handmade Waffles using premium local & seasonal ingredients set in a fun and whimsical atmosphere. They serve a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner items that are loved by people of all ages — offering an affordable, everyday dining experience with warm and friendly service.

Their unique recipe uses quality butter leavened batter, which makes feathery light and crispy golden waffles. So, they are famous with their great waffles, therefore their burger buns are made with waffles! And, I'm a huge fan of waffle!!! Weee, this is amazing food to try out.

For the U.S Potatoes Fries and Burger Fiesta, Chequers offers their customers with two types of burger. The first one is Moo Moo Burger. If you heard Moo Moo surely you know is a beef burger. Hence, Moo Moo Burger is a savory waffle burger with seasoned striploin beef patty served with homemade sauce, beef bacon, cheddar cheese, raisin slaw and pickled relish. Its also comes with a side of waffle fries. The waffle fries is one of the signature U.S Lattice Cut Fries from U.S Potatoes.

When the burger being served to me my first impression was 'OMG, it's so huge!' Then I saw the beef bacon I'm so excited and those melted cheese on the beef patties makes me wanna slice the knife on it immediately. But you know, camera always the one should eat first..haha

I really love this waffles burger, the beef patties is moist, you can realy can tell it a homemade burger and cook well. With the combination of their homemade sauce and the great waffles as their bun, it was a perfection. I also admire the waffle, the fluffiness its amazing with the cheese sauce. And of cos, not forgetting the waffle fries makes this Moo Moo Burger so waffle waffle hustle bustle. You know what I mean? haha .. An ordinary fries or wedges couldn't be a great accompanied with the waffle burger cos it will be plain boring. A waffle fries is perfect because its much more crunchy and will not make you fill unwell.

The next one is Spicy Cajun Chicken Burger. It is also a savory waffle with homemade chicken patty served with mesclun salad, kyuri, tomato,jalapeno and garlic rosemary aioli. This signature burger also comes with a side of waffle fries.

Who love Cajun Chicken surely will in love with this Spicy Cajun Chicken. Spicy Cajun Chicken also really suit our Malaysian taste buds who always love spicy food. This homemade chicken patties are moist and the combination with Jalapeno and Garlic Rosemary Aioli makes it so special. The waffle fries that comes with this waffle burger also makes this burger a-must-try-burger in your list. 

Apart from their great signature burger, you also should head down to this restaurant during lunch hour because there are offering a great menu for the Lunch Set. You can choose from the 3 choices of menu with a choices of drink with only RM18 only. Its value for your money.
