How GST will Effect Your Favorite Dishes at Manhattan FISH MARKET?

Are you a lover of Manhattan FISH MARKET? Are you afraid that GST will ruined your appetite to eat your favorite fish? Afraid not! coz it will brings a lil harm on your total bil... :)

GST is coming really soon in the first of April..and it is the day of my 4th Anniversary. Is like an April fool to me..hahaha... but then I should be happy for helping our government with paying the taxes.. oh maybe helping them buying a new jet for our country... LOL!

So here goes the GST calculation at The Manhattan FISH MARKET !

Before GST

Let say you dine with 1 Sharing Platter that cost you RM57.90.

Then 10% will be charge from the rm57.90 for service charge= RM5.79

Then 6% will be charge from RM57.90 for Govt Tax = RM3.47

So total price is = RM57.90+RM 5.79 + RM3.47 = RM67.20

After GST

Let say you dine with 1 Sharing Platter that cost you RM57.90.

Then 10% will be charge from the rm57.90 for service charge= RM5.79

Subtotal from RM57.90 + RM 5.79 = RM63.69

Then GST charge is 6% from the total of RM63.69 = RM3.82

So the Total is = RM57.90 + RM 5.79 + RM3.82 = RM67.50

Can you see the difference guys?  The difference after GST is only RM0.30!!

But if you have higher price compare to the sharing platter,it will cost you more than RM0.30.

For example, if you spend RM127.90 for Lobster Platter

10% service charge is RM12.79

Subtotal= RM127.90 + RM 12.79=RM140.69

6% GST is charge at RM140.69 = RM8.44

Therefore, the total is = RM140.69 + RM8.44= RM149.13.

Rounding (-RM0.03) = RM 149.10 (after GST)

Before GST is RM148.40.

Which make the difference of RM0.70

Here, we can see the increasing pattern is about RM0.30-RM 0.70 after GST at the total price. 


So it is not a big deal for you to eat your favorite fish at Manhanttan FISH MARKET after the implementation of GST right?
